Register a Scout for the 2010 Pow Wow View a List of Merit Badges
Overview
We are pleased to be having the 2010 Pow Wow, and are grateful to all those who are helping put it on. Each scout has the opportunity to earn 2 Merit Badges. The responsibility to do the work and earn the Merit Badges lies with the scout, his family, his troop, then the merit badge counsellor / stake, in that order. Please help your scout(s) prepare to arrive ready to learn and have fun, and follow up with them to ensure their homework is done and that they recieve each Merit Badge they attend class for.
First Day
Please plan to arrive early the first day. This extra time is crucial to make sure everyone gets to the right class on time and is prepared for a good experience.
"Be Prepared"
As the Scout Motto says, "Be Prepared". Each scout should have at least one pen or pencil, a notebook, and the workbook for each Merit Badge class they are taking. The workbooks are linked in from the Merit Badge List, and are PDF's that you can download and print (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free download). We ask the parents and leaders of each scout to help them arrive prepared.
Online Registration
Registration is done online, using this website. We hope this will have several benefits, including knowing in advance exactly which classes your scouts will be attending, and ensuring things go smoothly on the days of the Pow Wow.
